Unknown Regional Geophysical Exploration under Land to Be Developed Near Coal Mine
With the rapid expansion of the city, some developers start to develope some mining lands near the edge of city. As the planning building district is located at an abandoned vertical shaft of coal mine and has the goaf possibity under the planning building district. In that case, it will be directly affected the safety of residential areas. EH4 continuous conductivity profile instrument is adopted to explore the district, and the distribution and scope of the unknown goaf are drawn out according to the geological exploration of abnormal electrical characteristics by resistivity section of established survey line. Experimental results indicate the EH4 continuous conductivity profile instrument is very effective to explore the unknown district developed near coal mine.
