Study on Frozen Depth of Thick Topsoil

Freezing method, which can efficiently isolate the groundwater and strengthen anti-permeability, construction conditions can be flexible layout and cause no pollution to the neighboring environment and has many other advantages, has become a major coal mine shaft excavation method in China. In the freezing process, whether frozen depth is determined reasonably or not, is not only directly related to the shaft to freeze the construction of successfully or not, but also affects the length of mine construction period and the level of drilling cost. Based on YangYing mine as an example, under the conditions of thick topsoil, this paper analyzes frozen depth, and improvement measures are proposed, and reasons for China thick topsoil geological conditions of frozen construction shaft freezing depth of reasonable determination are provided.
