Theory Analysis and Experimental Study on Propagation Laws of Acoustic Emission in Coal and Rock
The propagation laws of acoustic emission in coal and rock is the base of AE monitoring gas dynamic disasters, AE signal conversion analysis, and AE discriminate analysis techniques of dynamic disasters. So, the propagation Laws of acoustic emission in coal and rock must be studied before beginning AE monitoring gas dynamic disasters in the field. Based on the stress wave propagation theory and quality factor Q theory, the AE propagation theoretic model is established. And combined with the many field tests, the AE propagation laws in coal and rock with the different protodrakonov scale of hardness. Based on these propagation laws and monitoring techniques in the field, the application conditions of AE monitoring dynamic disasters in the coal and rock are preliminarily given. These conclusions establish the theoretic and testing base for the further study on the AE forecasting gas dynamic disasters technique.
