Automatic Metadata Extraction for Educational Resources Based on Citation Chain
This paper proposes an approach to automatically extract metadata from educational resources using citation chain. Tracing the cited relationship between literatures, utilizing pattern matching algorithm to determine the most appropriate pattern for resolution, taking advantage of preorder traversal algorithm to query literature one by one, the metadata of educational resources, which are cited by others, can be extracted automatically. The experimental results show that the approach we proposed is fast, efficient in metadata autoextracting for educational resources.
