A Survey of Data provenance in Scientific Workflow

摘要：

Data provenance is a developing field with the researching of database, web technologies and grid workflows. It can be use to indentify the original source of data, determine data quality and reliability, and to optimize the scientific operations. When it comes to scientific workflows, data provenance both for the data they derive and their specification is essential component to allow for result reproducibility, sharing, and knowledge reuse in the scientific community. This paper firstly introduces the concept of data provenance; secondly, it provides an overview of research issues in data provenance for scientific workflows; lastly, it will introduce current numbers of popular provenance framework of scientific workflows system, and do some prospection of future work.
