Agent-based Information Warfare Modeling and Simulation by ICNP
Agent-based models or agent-based modeling and simulation allow analysis of evolving systems of autonomous interacting agents. In this paper, we formulated a model of information warfare system (IWS) by using this technology. Based on the analysis on the problem space, battlespace and information processing of IWS, multi-agent organization of IWS and its essential cells, agents architectures are studied. In order to solve the problems about description of military entities interactions in an agents-based modeling, the original CNP is extensively used, i.e., an improved CNP (ICNP) is proposed in this paper. The organization model of the ICNP is established and RCA (Representation des Comportements ds Agents) formalism is applied to express it. The simulation result proves that the established distributed multi-agent system model of IWS can afford advantage for carrying out the advanced concept technology demonstration of the intelligent, complex, dynamic, and information centric process.
