Study on Tiltable System of AOD Furnace on the Feed Forward Vector Control Basis

For sake to ensure accuracy requirements of tilting of time and position for the tilting system of AOD furnace, it aims at characteristics of low-speed, overload, frequent startup and brake, and strong impacting Loads for the AOD furnace. In this paper, the scheme of rotary speed double-closed loop control based on vector control was put forward, with a feedforward position. Location and rotary speed regulators was used PID to achieve, in the scheme, at the same time, a mathematical modeling was carried out for AOD location controller, on that basis, and a software simulation was conducted for the control system. The results show that, within 8 s regulating time, location steady-state error was 0, and the system steady-state and transient condition index have fully met the technical requirements.
