Research on Self-inverting Exhaust Muffler
Self-inverting exhaust muffler is an active control muffler based on acoustic interference principle. Compared with the passive exhaust muffler, the exhaust resistance of self-inverting exhaust muffler is smaller. Therefore, the engine power loss is smaller. Compared with the active exhaust muffler, the electric power loss of self-inverting exhaust muffler is smaller and structure is simpler, so that it can be implemented easily. In this paper, the principle, structure and application of the selfinverting exhaust muffler are discussed. All of these works lay the foundation for further study of the self-inverting exhaust muffler.
