A Novel Tunable Band-stop Filter based on RF MEMS Technology

This paper presents a band-stop tumble filter (BSF) within frequency ranges of 7-13.5GHz and it shows good stop rejection and sharp roll oil frequency. It used a novel design to turn the resonant frequency by micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) switch and coplanar-waveguide (CPW) structure). The DC voltage is utilized to load BF-MFM S switch as source of (he tunable cells power. This paper also gives a method to extract the parameters of the micro-wave filters based on CPW, and the method can be apply to any two dimension structure to extract the parameters of devices.
