Credit Rating Of Software Services Industry Based On Factor Analysis
Based on the analysis method of multivariate statistics, I.e. , factor analysis and cluster analysis, 20 listed software information service companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchange were selected as investigative samples for credit rating. The selection of variables is often based on major financial indicators. Then appropriate factors were selected among the financial indicators which influence business performance by using factor analysis. To calculate the factor scores of all enterprises with SPSS, these factors as variables were conducted by cluster analysis methods based on the results of factor analysis. Rating level of each company was determined by Standard & Poors evaluation system. The obtained results of credit ratings are essentially coincident with the companies actual operating capacity, profitability and solvency.
