Job Satisfaction And Creative Behavior:The Role Of The Five-Factor Traits
In this study, we theorized and empirically tested how the five-factor traits affect job satisfaction and creative behavior through job satisfaction. Regression analysis was used to test the hypothesis in a sample of 158 respondents. The results showed that the five-factor traits are significantly affect both job satisfaction and creative behavior. Neuroticism is negatively related to job satisfaction, while extraversion, openness to experience, agreeableness, conscientiousness are positively related to job satisfaction. Neuroticism and agreeableness are negatively related to creative behavior, while extraversion, openness to experience, and conscientiousness are positively related to creative behavior. In addition, the results revealed that job satisfaction mediates the relationship between the five-factor traits and creative behavior.
