Design and Accomplishment of Campus WebGIS Based on ArcIMS A case study on Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications

摘要：

Campus WebGIS platform is an important part of Digital Campus, and is an important measure for accelerating campus informatization construction. By using of ArcIMS, Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications (NUPT) campus WebGIS system is designed and implemented based on B/S system architecture. The architecture of ArcIMS, design scheme, technical flow and function implement of WebGIS platform are introduced in detail. The results show a WebGIS platform can be rapidly built by using ArcIMS, supporting various information services, and have good expansibility.
