Novel Robust Stabilization and H∞ Control Results for Discrete-Time Switched Systems with Time-Varying Delays

This paper is focused on the problem of delaydependent robust stability and H∞ control problems for discrete-time switched systems. By constructing a novel switched Lyapunov functional, an improved timevarying stability criterion is obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Based on this, robust stabilization and H∞ control problems are solved for discrete-time switched systems with time-varying state delays. Two examples are included to illustrate the effectiveness of the results.
