On a Generalization of Simpsons Rule

摘要：

The condition, when the degree of precision of quadrature formula is 3, is given. The Simpsons rule is generalized and a general rule is derived by using the method of undetermined coefficients. Using this general method can derive the three-point Gauss rule.
