Direct interpolation algorithm for stream turbine blade in NC machining
Stream turbine blade is a high-precision and complex part, but most are still using linear and circular interpolation in NC machining. To improve machining quality and the efficiency of steam turbine blade, four non-uniform rational B-spline interpolation algorithms are adopted in stream turbine blade machining. These interpolation algorithms include the constant feedrate interpolation algorithm, the adaptive feedrate interpolation algorithm with confined chord-error, the equal chord-error interpolation algorithm and the interpolation algorithm based on redundancy error. From three aspects of comparison based on the machining accuracy, feed rate and processing efficiency, and the optimal interpolation algorithm for the process of the stream turbine blade is gotten by simulation.
