Modeling and Simulation of Diesel Engine Power Signal Based on the Parametric Model Identification

Usually, the state signals of locomotive are direct reflection of locomotives running conditions, so that the state signals can be applied to judge the parts of locomotive and provide strong evidence of fault diagnosis. This article take the diesel engine as research object, using Matlab system identification toolbox to model the diesel engine power signal and forecast it. The result is show that using this method to deal with the forecast of locomotive signal is effective, and it also provide a basis for the fault diagnosis of locomotive.
