Coupled Vibration Simulation Analysis of Vehicle-Bridge System based on Multi-Body System Dynamics and Finite Element Method

With the development of computer technology, finite element analysis theory and multi-body system dynamics, an obvious and promising strategy is to simulate each of two subsystems (vehicle and bridge) with the appropriate method (software) concurrently and to exchange the interfacing data at discrete communication points. Using the finite element substructure method, the full dynamic analysis model of a long-span continuous beam bridge of Bahe superlong bridge on Zhengzhou-Xian passenger dedicated railway is established, and the full vehicle model is set up by multi-body system dynamics software. Finally, the coupled vibration responses of vehiclebridge system under a motor train set are calculated when only a train passes the bridge and when two trains pass the bridge with the opposite direction. The research method joins multi-body system dynamics and finite element method and couples rigid body with flexible structure in the multi-body system dynamics, and it would grow into a new research method for coupled vibration of vehicle-bridge.
