Simulation of Cascade Speed Control System with Chopper for Wound-Rotor Induction Motor in Simulink

In order to clearly reappearance the dynamic process for cascade speed control system, the simulation model is built in form of electric circuit structure by using blocks of SimPowerSystem toolbox in MATLAB/Simulink after discussing its basic principle. Moreover, the simulation model is simplified by masked subsystem. Finally, it is proved by the simulation results of the system, which the real system can be simulated by the emulate model with great efficient designing and the process of building a model is close to the real system designing process. This method is worthy to be spread in engineering application.
