Finite-element Analysis of Prestressed Concrete Stayed-cable Bridge
A multi-span prestressed concrete stayed-cable bridge was analyzed applying the universal finite element software ANSYS. The static stresses and displacements of the bridge structure under seven different working cases were obtained. The dynamic characteristics such as the self-vibration frequencies and corresponding principal modes of the bridge were studied. The results verify the feasibility of the preliminary design, and provide the basis for further antiseismic design.
