Vehicle Sound Package Optimization and Interior Noise Control Based on Statistical Energy Analysis
In order to reduce the sound pressure level (SPL) of the car interior noises, the sound packages were analyzed and optimized. When the car interior noises were controlled, the weights of the sound packages were lightest at the same time. The power flow equilibrium equation of the statistical energy analysis and SPL of the automobile interior noises were overviewed. A car SEA model was created, and the car interior noise at the drivers right ear space was predicted. Meanwhile, the absorption coefficient and transmission loss of the trim materials were measured. The energy distribution and the contribution of the subsystems to car interior noises were analyzed at 500 Hz. Firewall trim assembly and luggage compartment trim assembly were optimized, and the automotive interior noises were controlled. Furthermore, the ideal control result of the car interior noises can be achieved with the lightest weight of the sound packages, the sound packages optimization and the interior noise control can be satisfied at the car development stage.
