Optimization Design for The Rolling Cone-type Toroidal Drive
In this paper, aiming at the rolling cone-type tooth toroidal planet worm gear transmission, using optimal theory, the optimal mathematical model of is presented. The smallest volume for the rolling conetype tooth toroidal planet worm gear transmission is taken as the optimal objective function, using the stress calculation formula of the rolling cone-type toroidal transmission between the planet and worm, the the optimal objective function is established. By adopting the optimization method of penalty function and the Variable Metric Method - BFGS method, the optimization calculation was carried out. And the conclusions are satisfied by comparing with the original design parameters.
