Structural Dynamics Analysis of Rubber-metal Coupling

This paper solved the various parts connection problems in the rubber-metal coupling modal calculation. Based on the modal analytical method and contact algorithm, this paper dealt with bolts, gear teeth and sliding bearing parts connection problem by coincide, contact algorithm and bearing units when we calculated the first 100-order modal frequency on the platform of the ABAQUS software. The results of modal frequencies and mode shapes were similar with the experimental results in the smaller relative errors and higher accuracy condition. This paper also laid an important foundation for the further damping characteristics on the rubber-metal coupling.
