Research on Hydrologic Telemetering and Monitoring System Based on Inmarsat-C Communication
The hydrologic telemetric system is an important component of hydrologic forecasting and water conservancy. In order to make accurate prediction and management, a hydrologic telemetric and monitoring system was developed for YangHe reservior in this paper. Considering the formidable natural conditions and the wide distribution of telemetry stations, the Inmarsat satelite communication system was adopted to transmit the hydrologic information. The architecture and system composition of hydrologic telemetric and reporting system is mainly described, in which the hydrologic data is collected from fainfall sensors and then transmitted to central control station via satellite. Finally, the flowchart of controlling software in telemetry station and the graphic interface of mornitoring software in central station is presented. The practice proves that the solution can meet the requirement of the high reliability and accuracy of hydrologic telemetering under complex environment.
