Civil Structure Stabilization Study Based on Hierarchical Decentralized Control
In hierarchical decentralized control strategy, large-scale system such as the civil engineering structure to be controlled is divided into a set of sub-systems, and that is using local controller to control subsystem to obtain local stabilization while using global controller to reduce the interaction of sub-systems to ensure the global stabilization of the structure. When system is decentralized stabilized, its stabilization will not be influenced by correlated interaction. With LQR Active control algorithm in Matlab environment, the centralized control strategy was implemented on cantilever structure under earthquake excitation. Simulated results show that using hierarchical decentralized control method while makes structure performance index mostly optimized, also enables the close-loop system to reach asymptotical stability.
