A recurrence expressions on the total area of the regions bounded to k-paths

摘要：

In this paper, we unionized the three Lattice paths, i.e. Dyck path, Motzkin path and Schroder path, and obtained a new path named k-path by studying their properties. Using bijectives methods, it is obtained that the total area of the regions bounded to the paths in the k-path set and x-axis satisfied a fourterm recurrence depending only on k.
