Alternating segment Explicit-Implicit scheme for the fifth-order dispersive equation
A group of asymmetric difference schemes to approach the fifth-order dispersive equation are given here. Using the schemes, the alternating segment ExplicitImplicit scheme for solving the fifth-order dispersive equation is constructed. The scheme is unconditionally stable, and is used directly on the parallel computer. The numerical experiments show the scheme has high accuracy.
