The secondary flow of the flow of the second-order fluid having variable coefficients in annulus with the inner cylinder executing a planetary motion
The governing equations of the flow of the secondorder fluid having variable coefficients in annulus with the inner cylinder executing a planetary motion are established in the moving bipolar coordinate system, and the governing equations are numerically solved by using the finite difference method, then the distribution of the stream-function of the flow is obtained. The results show: the secondary flow appears in the flow of the second-order fluid having variable coefficients in annulus with the inner cylinder executing a planetary motion, and the distribution of the secondary flow is related with the direction and magnitude of the revolution and the rotation velocity of the inner cylinder and the eccentric distance of annulus.
