Experimental and Numerical Analyses of Electromagnetic Attenuation Properties of an L-Shaped Channel Constructed by Electromagnetic Absorbing Concrete
In order to explore the application of a kind of electromagnetic absorbing concrete in the protective engineering, the electromagnetic attenuation properties of an L-shaped channel have been analyzed. By utilizing the vector network analyzer for tests, the HFSS and XFDTD for numerical simulations, the measurement data and computed results show that the L-shaped channel with axial length 2.5m, wall thickness 5cm, may realize 10dB~40dB attenuations of the electromagnetic amplitude within frequency range 400MHz~ 6GHz. These results can provide certain reference for the application of this material in building protective engineerings main body and the passageway channels.
