Spatial Resource Sharing Method Using Pane in u-GIS Environment

When executing the continuous aggregation query to process data stream, resource sharing method have been researched in order to save memory and to avoid duplicating operation. Existing resource sharing methods process data when the predicate equals each query. So the new resource sharing method that can process duplicating range efficiently is required in the u-GIS environment which is often requested multiple spatial aggregation query that has difference between predicate of queries. In this paper, I suggest resource sharing method that can be used in u-GIS. It uses features of R-tree which make group spatial range efficiently and shares resource of duplicate range using the Pane structure. Suggested method can process spatial aggregation query and reduces query processing time and uses less resource compared with existing resource sharing methods. Performance evaluation shows that suggesting method reduces usages of memory and query processing time.
