Traffic Information Monitoring in Real-time Utilizing Stream Processing and Using Smart Phone Gathering Traffic Information
TPEG and VICE are the service that gathers and provides traffic information. They gather traffic information on nations major roads or roads in cities using probe car. This approach has problems. The gathered traffic information transmits drivers in one way and it is used as passive. In this system, drivers do not use the real-time processed traffic information of the accident or the dangerous situation around users so that the system could not notify users. To address these issues with GPS on smart phones using WCDMA networks, the traffic information can be transmitted in two-ways. However, a two-way traffic information gathering measures to provide, it is difficult to process data in real time. Considers like this problem points, this paper suggests the system architecture that use for smart phones.
