Study on Real Time Trajectory Anomaly Detection Method

There has been emergence of a large number of trajectory data with the maturity of GPS, sensor networks, and wireless communications technologies. Compared with the normal trajectory data, the discovery of anomaly trajectory can often lead to more valuable knowledge. This paper presents a real time trajectory anomaly detection method. First, according to the users information about start point, end point and digital map find the shortest path, and then detecting the anomaly by comparing the actual user route and the rectangular road which derived from the shortest path.
