Application of FTA Method in Ship Collision Accident Research

摘要：

The fault tree analysis (FTA) method is applied to analyze the collision accident of ships. A fault tree is built up according to the influences of various factors of ship collision accident and their logical relationships and analyzed qualitatively to find out the important degree coefficient of each factor and minimal path-sets. Then control measures are put forward to avoid the collision accident. With this method it is easy to find out the direct reasons for the accidents, and to show the actual situation subjectively and systematically.
