Evidence Theory Model and Its Application for Fire Risk Assessment of Long-Highway Tunnel
Once tunnel fire happens, which will cause serious casualties, economic losses and pernicious influence on society. The paper aims to prevent and control the occurrence of long-highway tunnel fire so that we can reduce the risk of tunnel fire. In this paper, we have studied the characteristics of long-highway tunnel fire and have also analyzed the causes of long-highway tunnel fire and the basic requirements on safety equipment and its operation based on the summary of fire-preventing and rescue strategies at existing long-highway tunnels both at home and abroad. Then a index system with general evaluation significance has been proposed. It have 5 first-grade assessment indexes, including tunnel fire safety systems, transportation and management policy, tunneling technology condition, emergency relief ability and community-supporting capability. The 5 assessment indexes in the given index system should include all the 23 secondary assessing indexes altogether. We have built the long-highway tunnel risk assessment model based on evidence theory and show its application processes through examples by making use of the features that evidence theory processes fuzzy information.
