Security Monitoring Platform of In-line Multipoint Initiation Control System Based on Lab VIEW
The paper introduces the conception and characteristics of virtual instruments (VI). Based on VI technology, a security monitoring platform of inline multipoint initiation control system was designed and implemented with the prevailing software platform of Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench (LabVIEW). The data transmission, collection, analysis and display were realized by a serial port between the host computer and Electronic Safety and Arming Devices (ESADs). The operating interface provides users a real-time status of ESADs, and it is intuitive and easy to understand. Using LabVIEW, the security monitoring development platform can easily achieve various functions, and it makes the system highly flexible and expandable.
