Video Stabilization and Target Tracking for Airship Monitoring System
Video surveillance from airship can take big advantages by video stabilization and target tracking system since it reduces monitoring errors and provides strong solution of surveillance based on moving objects. This paper presents a novel method for airship video surveillance system based on video stabilization and target tracking. Video stabilization algorithm proposed in this paper is based on affine model and Kalman filter by compensation method, and the algorithm has been optimized that can be applied on a real-time system. Then target tracking function has been embedded into the system on the basis of video stabilization. Optical flow techniques have been employed to track the vehicle in the video. Experimental results show that the proposed system has a high accuracy and efficiency during video stabilization, and good robustness in target tracking.
