Consequence Prediction Method of Plutonium Aerosol Dispersion for Explosive Accident
It is important for the emergency response of nuclear accident that the plutonium aerosol dispersion caused by explosion accident can be predicted reasonably and quickly. In this paper, the characteristic of plutonium aerosol source term released by explosive accident is analyzed, in which the simplified source term model is explored by the equivalent method for instantaneous volume source. The Gauss puff model is applied to calculate the diffusing range and concentration of plutonium aerosol dispersion. Then based on the dose conversion factor, the consequence of plutonium aerosol dispersion is investigated.
