Analysis of the Combustion Characteristics and Hazards of Typical Inflammable Materials in Hotel Room

In order to study the hazards of hotel room fire, typical decoration and bedding materials are study in experiment. The HRR, MLR, CO and CO2 yield of cotton is measured by cone calorimeter. According to the experiment results, cotton samples have two peak values on 25s and 250s for HRR and MLR. The HRR and burning rate formula of typical decoration and bedding materials is created. The hazards of toxic ingredients, source and MAC is analyzed in hotel room fire. The study results can provide methods to reduce hazards in hotel room fire.
