Application of DEA Theory in Performance Evaluation of Public Security Fire-Control
Performance evaluation of public security fire department covers wide fields, with great difficulties. The conventional method has some limitations. In this paper, in order to evaluating exactly the performance of public security fire department, DEA is used to establish a performance evaluation index system, with fire fund, personnel dispatched and vehicles as the entry index, with the number of fighting, rescue of property, and the rescue people as the output index. It is also used to establish the corresponding model of C2R and C2GS2. Through concrete examples, a real evaluation results were obtained. It indicates that the application of DEA theory in performance evaluation in fire department of public security is feasible. The way gets over disadvantages of existing performance evaluation ways and enriches the kind of quantitative analysis in performance evaluation. By this way we can get the feedback information from the performance evaluation but we will not by the existing ways. DEA can be applied and disseminated in many fields.
