Setting of Evacuation Passageways and Evacuation Analysis in Navigation Tunnel Fire
Taking the second channel project in the Fuchun River as an object, combining with the characteristics of navigation tunnels, the setting mode of evacuation passageway in the navigation channel tunnel is determined initially in this paper. According to the prediction condition of the shipping traffic in navigation tunnel, the evacuation plan of the tunnel, load calculation and evacuation criterion in navigation channel tunnel is discussed. Furthermore, the impact of all the evacuation passageway parameters on staff safety evacuation is studied when the passenger ship is on fire; it is recommended that 1.5m wide sidewalks in the tunnel can be evacuation routes and no secondary escaping tunnel is needed. Simulation study is conducted on evacuation scene when the cargo ship is on fire, which indicates that the smoke does little damage to peoples evacuation; however, the high temperature radiation or even explosion in a fire poses a threat to the safety of people, so measures are raised in order to lower the fire risk and improve personnel safety according to this feature.
