Propagation Characteristics Numerical Experiment of Gas Explosion Shock Wave under the Pipe Bend
Gas explosion is the disaster which causes the largest death toll, and often leads to coal dust explosion together. At present, the research of mechanism of gas explosion, propagation characteristics of gas explosion and impact factors, heat and mass transfer process in gas explosion still stays the early stages of development, so the study of gas explosion shock wave propagation is very useful for effect prevention and control of coal mine gas explosion accidents and reduce of the losses caused by gas explosion. This paper is based on numerical experiments which go into the propagation rule of gas explosion shock wave under the pipe bend. Making use of simulation software Fluent to calculate and analyze the rule of variation of overpressure in the condition of bend over pipeline of shock wave, we get pressure distribution of shock wave under bend over pipeline. It provides a new way to the research of gas explosion propagation regularity in the future.
