Study on the Explosion Limit of Natural Gas at High Temperature and High Pressure

Currently, the study on the explosion limit of combustible gas at normal temperature and pressure is available. However, the explosion limit of combustible gas is always subjected to various factors which made the limit uncertain, especially when the gas is at high temperature and pressure. To deal the explosion limit problems at high temperature and pressure, the explosion limit of natural gas with certain component is calculated at different temperatures and at different oxygen contents with theory, the calculation formula of natural gas explosion limit at high pressure is fitted with the numerical method and the explosion limit of natural gas is tested by experiment at high temperature and high pressure. The experimental results show the calculation date and fitted formula are rational, and the presented date and formula are significant to accident prevention and safety management both in theory and practice.
