Simulation Analysis for Nitrogen Tetroxide Leaking Dispersion under the Pouring Condition
As N2O4 a liquid propellant which is strong oxida, caustic and volatile, it is possible to leak during pouring. The flat board dispersion model was used to simulate the nitrogen tetroxide (N2O4 ) leaking dispersion under the assumed condition. The relation between the width, the height and the concentration of the leaking N2O4 vapor and the leaking time and the leeward distance were acquired. The calculation result shows that the vapour of disperses a long distance and covers a big area. If the leaking N2O4 was vaporized in half, the distance and the area could be reduced 29.3% and 46.5% respectively. Finally, some measures of preventing leaking and meeting an emergency rescue were brought forward.
