Study on the Characteristics of Laminar Premixed Flame and NOx Emission in Methane-Hydrogen-Air Mixture
To obtain a perfect proportion of fuel, by using CHEMKIN-4.1 software, laminar flame speeds, temperature and the NO emission of methane/hydrogen/ air mixture were calculated and analyzed. The results show that laminar flame speed and temperature are increased with increasing hydrogen proportion of methane-hydrogen-air mixture; different proportion of fuel has the minimum NOx emission point and the perfect proportion of methane/hydrogen is 1:4; by analysis the chemical mechanism, the main reactions are obtained and the reason for having the minimum NOx emission point is found.
