Application of Finite Volume Method on Temperature Field Simulation in Goaf
The new arithmetic of Finite Volume Method (FVM) is found to study the dynamic change regularity and all kinds of effect on the temperature field in mining goaf, which can generate reasonable mesh automatically with different sizes. This method of FVM both can predigest the processes of mathematic model and the program, and can ensure the calculation precision. At the same time, moving coordinates is based on the character of moving workface, and the coupling mathematical temperature model of residual coal and gas in goaf is work out standing to the flowing field safety theory, this model turned into steady state partial differential equation group with fixed boundary in moving coordinates from astable partial differential equation group with moving boundary in immobile coordinates, which can get model computing become simply. The VB program and numerical calculation software are used to simulate the temperature field model, the software tecplot9.0 is selected to analyze the calculation result; the distribution map of temperature in goaf is visualized distinctly. The research results provide a theoretical basis for understanding the real situation and preventing spontaneous combustion in goaf.
