Research on Relationship between Movement of Surrounding Rock and Gas Emission in Working Face

According to onsite condition of the Ji2-12071 working face in № 13 mine coal of Pingdingshan Coal Group, the support capacity, advance mining-induced stress and gas of working face were monitored online; the relationship of surrounding rock movement and gas emission was analyzed. The result shows that the gas concentration increases simultaneously with the ground pressure increasing in the working face, and vice versa. The weighting period of the front abutment pressure of working face gas coal pressurerelieved and fluid, gas emission enlargement, worked-out section overlying strata exhibits the character of multi-hole and multiply connected space with the high gas, At the same time, the impact of the coal face gas is divided into four districts; the fully analytical incidence of rupture coal, the gas emission incidence of pressure relief and plastic coal, the gas emission weak incidence after mininginduced stress increasing, the gas emission no incidence, the multi-hole and multiply connected space produce extruding or press and extruding synthesis effect, the high gas flow that accept attack and diffusion flows to the working face space, it induces working face gas concentration enlargement.
