Research on Active Faults to Predict Coal and Gas outburst

Coal and gas outburst is the result of co-action of energy accumulation which is caused by earth inner force driving crustal movement and excavating activity, is the dynamic destruction process which coal and rock mechanical deform system is disturbed by external. Both domestic and foreign research shows that coal and gas outburst distributes regionally and ties up closely with geological conditions, usually take place in structure active areas. Plate movements offer the original power, active faults provide proper media and excavating activity cause the outburst. Geological dynamic division makes out the characters of structure activity with different scales and ranks, establish the theory of plate and mining, make sure that coal and gas outburst mostly occur near active faults.the accuracy of gas of coal and gas outburst prediction was improved, so may apply and popularize in the actual project.
