A Gray System Method to Deal with Gross Error in Mine Ventilation Resistance Measurements
In ventilation resistance measurement, data samples often fall into normal distribution, and statistical methods are often used to assess the gross error. However, in the in-situ measurement, the number of data samples is so small that it is difficult to fit those samples into a probability distribution, which imposes limitations to the traditional statistical methods. To better process the measurement data, this paper proposes a gray system method to deal with gross error. This method can be used for processing smaller data samples in order to minimize the measured error. The example shows that the method can achieve better results in data processing of resistance measurements.
