An Improved Similitude Law Study on Dynamic Ice Force Model Experiment for Ice-Pier Induced Virbration

To develop the dynamic ice force model test, a new modified similitude law for dynamic ice force model test is proposed based on ice-induced virbration theory and two reasonable assumptions. In further, this method is vertified with a ice-induced pier virbration example, and the numerical calculation results are compared. The results show that the error of frequency factor between test and theory value is small as well as displacement, the time scale completely meet the similitude relation, the waveforms anastomotic well.And the improved similitude law is still be applied if the damping ratio between prototype and model is nearly equal. Therefore, the new modified similitude law and is feasible to study dynamic ice force model test, And it also can provide reference with the progress of ice mechanics and will provide a new way to analysis the ice-structure interactions.
