Detecting and Analyzing of Vehicle Front Wheel Alignment Based on Safety
Front wheel alignment of vehicle has a direct and important effect on vehicle handling stability and high-speed driving safety. Through researching the statistical characteristic of vehicle front wheel alignment by detecting and analyzing front wheel sideslip values, which can comprehensively represent whether important alignment parameter toe and camber match well, we can confirm that the front wheel sideslip obeys normal distribution. The statistical model of sideslip distribution is established then, and the model calculating error is 4.0759% only. The research results are accurate and reliable, and can be used to direct vehicle design and improve vehicle handling stability and driving safety.
