Study on Risk Assessment of Major Hazard Installations for Highway Tunnel Construction

To identify and manage major hazard installations for highway tunnel construction, from perspective of accident consequences, accident possibility and safety compensation, assessment index system of major hazard installations for highway tunnel construction is proposed, which includes accident consequences index, accident possibility index and safety compensation coefficient index, and assessment index are quantified, the corresponding level model is built. Assessment procedure of major hazard installations for highway tunnel construction is established, earth and stone engineering, formwork engineering, scaffolding engineering, hoisting and disassemble, installation engineering, muck hauling and cave transport, supporting and lining, construction ventilation, construction electricity, construction blasting and other sources are regarded as assessment unit of major hazard installations. Based on the basic concepts of risk, risk assessment model is proposed, which achieve quantitative assessment and risk classification of major hazard installations. Through major hazard installations were identified in supporting lining unit of a road tunnel construction, which indicating that this method is feasible, practical and high reliability of evaluation results. The study provides a theoretical basis to risk assessment of major hazard installations for highway tunnel construction, and has some reference value for improving identification standard of major hazard installations at the same time.
